Held at the Paris Expo Porte de Versailles from the 5th to the 8th of July, Bijorhca Paris is well renowned as THE international fine and fashion jewellery show for buyers and exhibitors alike. Spread over 4 days, the show is literally a golden opportunity for retail jewellery buyers to discover new designers, explore new trends and, staged in conjunction with other fashion shows on the same dates, really immerse themselves in the worlds capital of fashion.
New Collections
Given the prominent location and timing of the show, it is no wonder designers seize the opportunity to showcase their latest collections to such a wide spectrum of buyers, from retail and department stores to buying offices. This year, these included:
ODY Collection from Danielle Vroemen Jewellery Design
With her first collection, Geom, released in 2010, up and coming designer Danielle Vroeman looks set to take the jewellery world by storm with her latest collection, ODY. Inspired by the film A Space Odyssey, this is a minimalist set which combines materials and technologies in a beautiful way.
Exclusive collection from Cucadas de Ana
Exclusive to the show, this collection from Cucadas de Ana lived up to their reputation for the fresh and funky. Pieces on show included wrist cuffs in gold and ruby, collars in gold, ruby and oynx, and necklaces with the same trendy twists.
Flashy Exhibitors
As well as new collections, there were other designers exhibiting at the show who really put on a flash and a twinkle to attract interest. These included:
Amadoria Jewellery
Handcrafted jewellery that has been designed to capture the unique beauty in every woman, the Amadoria was elegant and eye catching at the same time. Rainbow lighting effects at the back of the stand really helped capture attention, and the array of pieces on display did not hurt, either.
Dyvsign
Hailing from the Netherlands, Dyvsign specialise in 3D printing and jewellery, with inspiration from the works of Yvonne Zummeren.
The Pearl Lab
The Pearl Lab is a Japanese company dedicated to the creation of a more modern pearl for a modern generation. Their designs are made from a non-porous pearl coating with a variety available of multi-layered colours, sizes and shapes.

The dates for next years Bijorhca show have been announced, Friday 24th to Monday 27th January, 2014 at Paris Porte de Versaillies, Pavilion 5.
